Nestled in a peaceful country setting with luxurious facilities, Timara Lodge is quite
simply the perfect spot to unwind.

Timara, luxurious in its facilities and peaceful in its setting, represents one of the
ultimate hideaways. All meals are of the highest standard, and are complemented by
the comprehensive wine list, which includes internationally acclaimed local vintages as
well as a range of “Spy Valley” wines produced from the 350 acre Vineyard associated
with the lodge. Part of Timara’s charm is its unique country setting. Within the spacious
grounds you'll find an in-ground pool, a tennis court, and a two hectare man-made
lake. And of course, there are the extensive gardens that provide a magnificent frame to
the lodge, in their extravagant, almost year-round, display of form and colour.

Finding your way Timara Lodge is only 15 minutes drive from Blenheim, which is
regularly serviced by airlines from Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. Picton, the
Cook Strait ferry berthing point, is only 45 minutes distant.

Accommodation Timara Lodge accommodation is limited at any one time to eight
guests. There are two junior suites and two rooms, each bedroom has its own
bathroom ensuite and airconditioning unit.

Local Attractions Situated in the heart of the largest grapegrowing area of New
Zealand, the province’s many wineries offer tastings of internationally renowned
Marlborough wines. Fly-fishing, golf and some superb gardens provide added interest to
a most relaxing holiday in this region. The waterways of the Marlborough Sounds and
the Queen Charlotte walking track are only 35 minutes drive from Timara while whale
watching in Kaikoura can be reached in 90 minutes.
