This afternoon tour Kata Tjuta, before viewing sunset at Uluru. Overnight: Ayers Rock, Voyages Desert Gardens Hotel DAY 2: ULURU (AYERS ROCK)— KINGS CANYON There is a choice in the morning of the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour or, for the nonclimbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk. In the afternoon, travel to Kings Canyon Resort. Overnight: Kings Canyon, Voyages Kings Canyon Resort DAY 3: KINGS CANYON—ALICE SPRINGS This morning, climb to the rim of Kings Canyon for marvelous views of Watarrka National Park. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the canyon floor. Later, travel to Alice Springs. Overnight: Alice Springs, Crowne Plaza DAY 4: ALICE SPRINGS—CAIRNS Morning is at leisure before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairns (flights anytime, airfare not included). On arrival, your transfer to the hotel is included. Afternoon at leisure in Cairns. Overnight: Cairns, The Oasis Resort for 2 nights DAY 5: GREAT BARRIER REEF Cruise to the magnificent Outer Barrier Reef, where there is time for swimming, snorkeling (equipment provided) and coral viewing.
