DAY 1: ARRIVE BRISBANE—AFTERNOON CITY SIGHTS, KOALA SANCTUARY & LOOKOUT You will be met and transferred to your hotel by private car. This afternoon, be met by your tour guide and begin your discovery of the attractions in the city center. Pass the Queensland Performing Arts Complex and the South Bank precinct. Travel on to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, where you will have time to stroll around the park at your leisure and have your photograph taken with a koala (own expense). Travel on to Mt Coot-tha Lookout for a spectacular view of the city before returning to your hotel. Overnight: Brisbane, choice of hotel for 2 nights DAY 2: FRASER ISLAND Fraser Island is one of Southern Queensland’s most impressive attractions. Rainforest on sand is one of the amazing features of this World Heritage landmark. Unspoiled freshwater lakes and creeks, so clear that you can see the bottom, mingle with towering rainforests to create a breathtaking visit to the world’s largest sand island. Visit Eurong Beach Resort, Rainbow Beach, Perched Lakes, Wangoolba Creek and Central Station. Operates Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
