Leaving your hotel we travel through the historic Rocks area before crossing over the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge. We wind our way through the leafy Northern Suburbs, & then escape through the brilliant sandstone outcrops before emerging into the lushness of this wine making region. Our first stop is McGuigans Winery. McGuigan Wines is the culmination of the McGuigan family's involvement in the Australian wine industry for more than fifty-five years. The company’s commitment to quality fruit and wine production has seen McGuigans produce outstanding wines for both the domestic and international wine consumers for prices that reflect excellent value for money. You will get to taste these wines. Off to lunch we go where you will have more tastings followed by a vineyard tour to give you an insight into how premium wines are produced. Lunch will be a three course affair with each course married to a particular wine. Each will be described in detail and be the perfect accompaniment for each course. Before we head back to Sydney we make one more stop at one of the newest wineries in the area, Tempus Two. There are classic varietals to taste here such as Barossa Valley Shiraz and Hunter Valley Semillon, and regional blends that exhibit the true Tempus Two style. Despite this enormous growth, attention to detail will always be the hallmark of Tempus Two. It is the small detail - such as exclusive imported bottles, pewter labels, hand plunging of reds, open vat fermentation, and lesser-known grape varieties and personalised hand selling - that has made Tempus Two a unique and proven player in the wine industry.
