Huka Lodge
Rustic charm and understated elegance harmonize to create an enchanting ambience that
is as rich as the beautiful environment surrounding Huka Lodge. A world renowned luxury
retreat, Huka Lodge is on park-like grounds, upstream from the mighty Huka Falls.

Awaken to the gentle rushing of the Waikato River as you relax in one of the 20 Lodge
rooms tucked along the riverbank and nestled among the trees. If you prefer the ultimate
in privacy, the Owner’s Cottage has 4 suites and offers all Huka Lodge guest amenities just
minutes from the main lodge. Accommodation at Huka includes a country style breakfast,
pre-dinner drinks hour and a delicious 5-course set dinner menu highlighting the best of
New Zealand produce.

The Lodge rooms, located on the banks of the river, offer every comfort from fully stocked
mini-bar to walk-in dressing room, and are light, spacious and very peaceful with slatted
wooden outdoor terraces. The en-suite bathrooms have heated timber floors, a sunken
bath, separate shower and double hand basins.

The area is noted for its wonderful trout fishing on Lake Taupo. Enjoy a day of heli-fishing
in some of the world’s best trout fishing territory. A day in Rotorua is a great way to
experience Maori culture and heritage. Or simply relax at Huka Lodge in the peaceful
solitude of this beautiful sanctuary.
